The non-woven industry has steadily increased tonnage by 12% - 13% every year in the past decade. Although the growth of nonwovens industry in North America, Europe and Japan has become mature, these industries are still growing at an annual rate of 5%. A large part of the global expansion of nonwovens is due to the growing demand for these materials with the expansion of emerging economies such as Asia. India and China are the main drivers of this growth.
As nonwovens and industrial textiles are considered to be the most promising and dynamic parts of the textile industry, the demand and consumption of nonwovens and industrial textiles will increase greatly in the near future.
